ENERGYWERX operates under a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and DEFENSEWERX (DWX), a nonprofit organization. ENERGYWERX serves as a Partnership Intermediary to support collaboration between DOE and small businesses, manufacturers, state and local governments, academia, tribal organizations, nonprofits, and other entities that do not typically work with the US federal government.

ENERGYWERX respects user privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information shared. This Privacy Policy explains how ENERGYWERX collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when individuals visit the website, submit information through forms or applications, or otherwise interact with various services.

By using the ENERGYWERX website, the individual agrees to the practices described in this policy.

Information Collection

ENERGYWERX does not collect any personal information unless it is voluntarily provided. However, an individual may be required to provide certain personal information when electing to use certain services and/or if selected for an award. These may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Joining Our Ecosystem,
  • Registering for an Informational Webinar,
  • Registering on a Teaming Partner List,
  • Applying for a Funded Opportunity, and/or
  • Contacting us by email.

Information collected may include the individual’s name, email address, organization, phone number, geographic location, any additional information related to the specific opportunity, and/or information required from Selectees.

When an individual contacts ENERGYWERX by email, a record may be retained to include the message, email address, and any response(s) to assist with follow-up communications and process improvement.

ENERGYWERX may also automatically collect limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and website usage data, through cookies or analytics tools.

Information Sharing

ENERGYWERX does not sell, rent, or lease its client lists to third parties.

ENERGYWERX may share data with trusted partners to provide troubleshooting support.

ENERGYWERX may disclose user personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law to:

  • Protect and defend the rights or property of ENERGYWERX,
